Change of plan!
I will share on this blog a piece of my life that I need to get out.
A good friend of mines, Jonathan White was murdered while I was home for thanksgiving break during my sophomore year at Beloit College.
He was a few years younger than me but I watched over him and tried to keep out of trouble as much as I could. It is now my Junior year and almost a year after his murder. I feel like now is the time to share something inside of me that has effected my life.
We have been reading a novel in class, The Miracle Game alongside with an essay by Havel. Havel mentions living within the lie and truth. His essay is more of a political one but I want to use his definition or at least tweak it a little to demonstrate in my story whether I have been living in a lie or living in the truth. Either way I hope you all enjoy as I open up a side of me that nobody knows.
